Hi doctor,

I have been having some pain in my butthole. I have a giant rash that is on the edge of my anus and a lump or inflammation directly in the opening in my anus. The inflammation is reddish-purple in color and the area pains when touched. It hurts very bad while sitting down and after a bowel movement.

I had experienced anal itching and sensitivity in the past when I had changed by toilet paper brand. However, there was no inflammation or pain.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read your concern in detail and I will surely help you out.

Based on your description, I can surely make out that you are suffering from piles or hemorrhoids but there is nothing to worry about. It is in the initial stage only and can be controlled with medications.

You need to take the following treatment for seven days and you will feel much better. The further treatment will be decided after seven days as per the improvement in symptoms

  1. Take the tablet Daflon (Diosmin and Hesperidin) 1000 mg twice daily for one week.
  2. Apply Anovate (Phenylephrine, Beclometasone, and Lidocaine) on the affected area thrice daily.
  3. Take the syrup Looz (Lactulose) 15 ml twice daily.
  4. Take the tablet Trenaxa (Tranexamic acid) 500 mg thrice daily for three days.
  5. Take a Sitz bath (water, sodium bicarbonate, or salt) twice daily.

The main thing you need to follow is avoiding constipation. The more you constipate, worsen the piles will be. Follow a high-fiber diet.

Hope this helps.

Kindly revert back in case of further queries.

Thank you.
