Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have had sex with a couple of partners earlier. Still, somewhere in the case of my present partner, I cannot penetrate her because she may be a bit heavy for me to move and push through, and as a result, after a couple of minutes, I lost my erection, which happened two to three times. I am losing confidence somewhat and cannot understand if it is my problem or if it is natural. Please help me; this will affect my mental health and our sexual relationship.

Thanks.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern.

According to your complaints, you may have erectile dysfunction (ED). Reason for ED includes:

  1. Stress due to work or family-related issues.
  2. Depression.
  3. Varicocele.
  4. Low self-esteem.
  5. Homosexuality.
  6. Religious constraints.
  7. Smoking and alcohol.
  8. Long-term illness such as cardiac, thyroid, kidney, or any other disease with long-term medication.
  9. Vitamin deficiency.
  10. Negative attitude towards your partner.
  11. Hormonal issues include thyroid, low testosterone, and increased prolactin.
  12. Long-term drug usage.
  13. Diabetes and hypertension.
  14. I suggest you the following tests, a Doppler penis, USG (ultrasound) pelvis, blood pressure, random blood sugar, free T3 (triiodothyronine), T4 (thyroxine), testosterone, and TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone). Kindly share more details regarding the above reasons, so that I can work on diagnosis and treatment. It will help if you plan for regular exercise and a proper diet.

For a temporary solution, I suggest using the tablet Mildfil (Tadalafil) 5 mg twice a day. Consult a specialist doctor and take medications with their consent.

I hope this information will help you.

    Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
