Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have anal warts and infection in the vaginal area. It is looking like a yeast infection. What can I do about this problem?

Answered by Dr. Reetika

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I fully understand your concern and will surely help you. In the image shared by you (attachment removed to protect patient identity) and the details presented by you, I recommend that for relief:-

1. Use Surfaz SN cream locally.

2. Use V wash to clean the area.

3. Maintain good hygiene.

4. Use loose cotton underwear and wash it in soft detergent.

5. Do not do intense exercise.

6. Avoid intercourse. Else use barrier contraceptives like a condom.

Also, please share that if you are experiencing any discharge, itching, etc., as well.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for your reply.

I have itching and irritation. I also have severe white and yellowish discharge. I am worried whether it is a major problem. Is this problem curable with cream alone? Is there any need for any medication? Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

You should get yourself examined by a gynecologist. Get a Pap smear (Papanicolaou smear) and HPV (Human papillomavirus) test done. Warts can be excised.

I hope this information will help you. Please revert in case of further queries.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Should I visit the gynecologist for sure? Will warts be removed by using the cream? And how much does it charge for warts treatment?

Thank you.

Answered by Dr. Reetika

Hi,

Welcome back to iCliniq.com

No, warts will not go with the cream. Cream can only treat the vulval infection. The removal of warts is not very expensive. You will be advised local application of cream. Excision depends upon your response and tests.

I hope this information will help you. Please revert in case of further queries.

Thank you.
