How can I manage itchy penis?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I was suffering from itchy penis and sore throat. Recently, I have used Tamiflu, Advil and Tylenol for fever. It has reduced the sore throat, but itchiness is still there. Could you please advise?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com

Relax and do not worry. You may be suffering from a urine infection. So, if possible, I suggest you get a urine routine, culture, and sensitivity report. The above test will diagnose urine infection, if present. Meanwhile, you should drink plenty of fluids, take syrup Cital (Disodium hydrogen citrate) 2 teaspoons in a glass of water three times a day for two weeks and a tablet of Flavospas (Flavoxate) one tablet in the morning and evening for two weeks. The above medication will reduce your itching. Consult your specialist doctor, discuss with him or her, and take medications with their consent.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I could not get the above medicine here. Could you recommend some other medications? Still, I have a rash at the corner of my penis.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You can take syrup that contains Disodium hydrogen citrate (1.37 grams per 5 ml) brand name can be Cital. Take the tablet Flavospas (Urispas) contains flavoxate.
