Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My skin near the vagina, above and under the thigh gap, has become red and inflamed. There are large spots that are red and thick. I do not know what it is. So I started using Candid-B cream and Mycoderm-C powder. What could be the reason for this?

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

1. Do you had any other symptoms before the appearance of thick red spots in the genital area?

2. Have you had these rashes, or is it the first time?

3. Have you done any screening tests or investigations for this before?

If it happened before, it is an old virus infection that is recurrently bothering you, and if it newly appears, it could also be a viral infection.

To confirm the diagnosis, I recommend doing serum IgG and IgM tests. Meanwhile, I suggest the following. Consult your specialist doctor, talk with them, and take medications with their consent.

1. Tablet Acyclovir 400 mg three times a day for seven days

2. Try to use soft, comfortable garments for the skin.

And no need to apply the current medications that you are using now. Try to use condoms for protection.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
