Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have nausea. Why do I have pain in my left upper stomach?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

It can be due to acidity or gastritis. Please mention whether you have upper abdominal pain, bloating, burping, or an increase in pain while taking food, a sour water feeling in your throat, or chest burning. You should avoid having a fatty, oily, and spicy diet. Have a walk after having food. Have regular sleep habits and avoid stress. Take lots of green leafy vegetables and fruits. Avoid smoking and alcohol if you have the habit.

You can take a tablet of Pan DSR 40 mg (Pantoprazole with Domperidone) before breakfast once a day for two weeks. If there is no relief, then you can add syrup Sucral O (Oxetacaine with Sucralfate) or Gelusil (Aluminium hydroxide with Magnesium Hydroxide) two teaspoons three times a day for a week. To have immediate relief, you can take antispasmodic tablets like Dicyclomine 20 or Hyoscine 10 mg whenever needed, up to three times a day.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
