Are recurrent UTIs, stomach aches, and headaches signs of sepsis?

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I figured out I had a UTI. I took all my antibiotics, but I have a UTI again but with more symptoms. Like achy muscles, super sore. I am getting bruises and have a lot of exhaustion in my abdomen and back pain. It does smell like a UTI when I pee, but my pee is not dark or anything, and I pee unnecessarily, like with a UTI. But I get random bouts of fatigue, too. I have had headaches and bad stomach aches. I am just scared I will get sepsis or something before I can get to a doctor.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You have gastritis and other nonspecific symptoms. These symptoms are nonspecific and can be associated with any infection, like a viral infection or sometimes a urinary tract infection.

So do not worry. Give a urine sample for testing and, if possible, give a complete hemogram. Suppose urine examination shows more than 10 pus cells. In that case, we can start antibiotics like tab Nitrofurantoin 100 milligrams twice a day and some antacids like the tablet Pantoprazole before breakfast once a day for seven days and have plenty of water. At present, you have Paracetamol for your symptoms.

For gastritis, you should avoid fatty, oily, and spicy diets. Have some walks after having food instead of taking a rest. Have multiple small meals instead of heavy meals. Have regular sleep habits and avoid stress. Eat lots of green leafy vegetables and fruits. Avoid smoking and alcohol, if any. You should get prescribed tab Pan DSR 40 (Pantoprazole and Domperidone) milligrams or another antacid like Esomeprazole before breakfast once a day for two weeks. Consult with a doctor and take medicines with their consent.

I hope this helps you. Get back if you have any doubts.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
