Hello doctor,
I have eczema and a very irritated and painful vagina. I do not have an STI because I have been with a single partner for the past few years. Please suggest treatment to provide relief for my pain.
Please help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I went through your query and understood your concern.
Such irritation could be because of a wet area (mostly because of sweat or urine) which causes irritation and rash, or there could be pubic hair infection. This could also be because of eczema. So, I suggest you follow the instructions mentioned below.
1. Keep that area clean, dry, and shaved.
2. Change undergarments twice daily.
3. Wash your genital area with soft cleansers.
4. Do not scratch that area, otherwise it will increase the rash.
5. Use a good anti-fungal powder. It will help keep that area dry and prevent infection.
Kindly consult a specialist, talk with them, and take medicines with their consent.
I hope this has helped you.
Thanks and regards.
