Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am having vitamin D of 11.45 ng/ml and B12 of 145 pg/ml. While jogging, I am having pain in the lower one-third of the tibial region. I am feeling a little tired. I am currently on Supradyn and Calcirol. Can you please give me some perfect medicine to treat? Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

It seems that you have a low vitamin D and low vitamin B12. And, that could be causing tingling, numbness, and tiredness.

For treatment, I would suggest tablet Calciquick 60000 units. You take the tablet once a week for eight weeks and after that same tablets once a month for another ten months.

Methylcobalamin injection, one ampule 1000 mg should be given as an injection in the buttocks, two injections every week. In total, ten doses for five weeks. I hope this helps. Thank you. Take care.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
