Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am 20 years old. I am a college student. Few weeks back, I was told that I have PCOS because of which I am facing difficulty in reducing weight. My weight is 65 kg and I am 5'4" height. It would be really helpful if you could suggest me a diet plan.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can give you some guidance which might help you reduce weight with PCOS (polycystic ovaries).

  • Try to drink at least two liters of water daily.
  • You should have a bowl of soup between breakfast and lunch.
  • Eat lots of vegetables and white meat for lunch.
  • Have some fruits in the evening.
  • Eat your dinner early which is light and easily digestible.
  • Try to check your weight regularly and stick to exercise.
