Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am 28 years old. My height is 5'11'' and weight is 91 kg. I plan to get married this year. I am not on any regular medication. I am currently having following problems for which I desire to seek some solution. It includes premature ejaculation and foreskin of my penis does not go back all the way when erect. There is some kind of problem on the forehead of penis because of which the foreskin does not go back. It even hurts at time when tried to pull back. I request you to provide remedy to the problems that I face. Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understood your concern.

  • The condition that you described is known as acquired phimosis. Is the surface of your foreskin healthy? Or is there some erosion, itching or ulcer? And since how long have you had it?

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Firstly, thank you for your reply to my concerns. To be very frank, it is difficult for me to describe the surface of the foreskin or superficial skin in words. Like I had mentioned earlier, there is some sort of attachment at one end of the foreskin with the centre of the penis. I have had this condition since I attained puberty. However, the condition became more prominent in the last 6-7 years. As for the premature ejaculation, the average time of ejaculation during masturbation is around 2-3 minutes from the point the penis is erect to ejaculation. During copulation, the average time of ejaculation is say around 3-4 minutes.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

  • If the overlying skin is normal and the difficulty is in retraction, you must get consultation from a surgeon for circumcision and prepuceplasty. That will address your concern.
  • Three minutes is a pretty decent time and it is not premature ejaculation.
  • Premature ejaculation, although there is no standard definition, is usually regarded as ejaculation in less than a minute. But, if you still want to increase the time further, you may use a thicker condom which will decrease the sensation a bit and in turn increase the ejaculation time.
