I have been trying to lead a healthy and nutritional life by doing regular physical activities like pilates, yoga, jogging, etc. However, recently I came across an article saying that dietary fibers help regulate bowel movements and play an essential role in weight loss. Which food items have the best source of dietary fibers? And are there any other health benefits of increasing the number of dietary fibers in my diet?

What could be the reason for 13 pound weight loss in two months?

Hello doctor,

I have changed my eating habits for eight months and have lost 60 pounds. But for the last two months, I have lost 13 pounds. I am concerned if there is anything wrong to worry about. I have cut out all processed food, sugar, salt, bread, and flour items. I take minimal dairy and drink 64 ounces of water every day. I know I should be excited about this, but I feel this seems to be too fast as I constantly eat little meals all day. I do not know if I have gone into ketosis or if what I have cut in the food has been related to drastic weight loss.
