I have bumps on my penis. Is this due to excessive masturbation?

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have attached the image. Please check the image of my private area and give me a suggestion.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I checked your picture (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity), and it does not look like an ulcer or fungal infection. It can be bacterial infection or friction rash due to continuous masturbation. You can apply T-bact ointment (Mupirocin) twice a day and tablet Doxy (Doxycycline) 100 mg twice a day after food for five days.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

Last month I had bumps for more than 20 days. Then my doctor prescribed Triphala herbal care, and I took an HIV test, HSV test, blood immunology, and RT-PCT test taken. I have attached my reports. Please have a look and help me. Doctor gave me an external wash, kidney care capsule, and immune care capsule, but I do not see any visible changes.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I checked your reports (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity), and there are increased uric acid, increased liver enzymes, and increased cholesterol. Repeat the uric acid, HSV (herpes simplex) after seven days as they are borderline. I prescribe:

  1. If you have joint pain, you need to start Febuxostat 40 mg once morning for 30 days.
  2. Tablet Liv-52 (Chicory and the Caper Bush) three times a day before food for 30 days.
  3. Tablet Uribid (Nitrofurantoin )100 mg twice a day after food is a must for five days.
  4. Continue Doxy (Doxycycline) and T-bact (Mupirocin).
  5. To reduce the cholesterol level, medication and regular exercise are needed.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

Which one should I repeat HSV 1 or 2, which is borderline? In the report, all are negative. What should I do?

Answered by Dr. Raveendran S R

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Yes, repeat HSV 1 and 2 alone. You do not want to repeat other tests, and urinary tract infection treatment is a must.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

In the report, which one is borderline. Please let me know.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I compared the reference range of HSV with my laboratory reports due to the incomplete download of the report. Your HSV is negative. I hope you understand.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

Do my bumps look like syphilis chancre?

Answered by Dr. Raveendran S R

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

No, it will appear different, and there will be depth where the margins will be strong.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
