There are no specific treatments for chikungunya. There is no vaccine currently available. Chikungunya is treated symptomatically, usually with bed rest, fluids, and medicines to relieve symptoms of fever and aching such as ibuprofen, naproxen, acetaminophen, or paracetamol. Aspirin should be avoided.

First line treatment is usually Rest and Hydrtation.
Following this - Paracetamol (safest ) 500mg every 6 hours.
If Moderate pain - Add Tramadol with Paracetamol.
If Severe Pain - Add T Amitryptiline 25mg , can add Tab Pregaba 75mg twice daily to have add on analgesic effect.
