Medical Case Details:
I have a 80 year old paraplegic woman, who has been paralyzed for 41 years. Her PCV is 22% constantly experiencing dizziness and pale++ on examination. Her family has refused to take her to the hospital for a possible transfusion because of the fear or COVID. Please can you suggest possible alternatives to blood transfusion ? Is Iron dextran a good alternative ?
