Dr. Sreenivasa Rao.,garu,
I think it is a temporary upset of GIT after eating or drinking. Some times more or less often than normal. Some times different kind of stool is present.(thin, hard, soft or liquid). Some times pellets like stool also present. Some people having alternate patterns of constipation and diarrhea. It is due to hyperactive or over reactive to stimulant. There is increase movement of bowels or losing rhythmic movements, the bowel spasm may occur, can causes diarrhea or constipation. When bowel does not squeeze normally, it affects the movement of stool. The single treatment is not enough to treat ibs. There is need Diet and Lifestyle Changes. Here need of anti spasmodic and anti diarrheal drugs helpful.
HOMEOPATHY CAN HEP TO TREAT IBS. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED I CAN SUGGEST HOMEOPATHIC TREATMENT.
THANK YOU SIR
I hope all possible investigations to rule out other conditions have been done.
If the age of the patient is above 40 yrs, it would be wise to get a flexible sigmoidoscopy done.
