Hello, premature ejaculation is most commonly due to performance anxiety for new partner. It could be from stress, depression, guilt or from relationship issue.

So it should be discussed with patient and fluoxetine like anti depression drug prescribed If needed.

Kegel exercise beneficial in some case.

Patient should discuss partner when to slow down during sex.
Yoga, focus exercise, deep breathing etc beneficial.

Master and Johnson stop start technique also beneficial.

Finally you are the sexologist so you can treat him better with your additional knowledge as well.

Post your extra comment if answer lacking any information.

    Regards.
