Mosquito Bites

Mosquito bites are itchy red bumps after a mosquito punctures the skin and feeds on a person’s blood. Usually, the area is swollen and becomes red, known as skeeter syndrome, and is seen in children. Wearing full-sleeve clothes, applying calamine lotion, and putting a cold compress on the affected area can help heal the bump faster.
