Apollo Hospitals, chennai has consented to conduct a Mega camp in Govt Secretariat campus based on the request by the staff welfare organisation in secretariat.
It was started on last week of febuary 2013, so far 800 staffs have been screened by way of blood tests, X ray, USG abdomen followed by physical examination by medical officers. After which the needy individuals were referred to specialist consultants deputed from various specialities of Apollo Hospitals in chennai.
It is a novel method and first of its kind that has happened in secretariat.

Secretariat is not a new campus for me... my father works in secretariat... so participating on behalf of the medical panel & seeing our own staffs gives immense pleasure .
