Reactive Thrombocytosis

Thrombocytosis is a disorder where the body produces too many platelets, and reactive thrombocytosis is a secondary condition when there is an underlying soft tissue or pulmonary infection which causes thrombocytosis. There are usually no symptoms associated with this disorder, but in some cases, there is headache, weakness, chest pain, or numbness of hands and feet seen.
