Medical Conditions - Blood Transfusion Reactions

Blood transmission is routinely done in cases of trauma and before major surgical procedures. An adverse reaction caused by a blood transfusion is known as a blood transfusion reaction. Such adverse reactions can be immediate or delayed. These adverse reactions are mainly either immunological in nature or can be caused by the physiological reaction of the blood transmission. A rise in the body temperature and changes in the heartbeat and pulse are the usual signs and symptoms of this condition.
