Stage 3 CKD (Chronic kidney disease) is characterized by mild to moderate kidney damage, and the eGFR (estimated glomerular filtration rate) falls between 30 and 59. The symptoms of stage 3 CKD includes fatigue, swelling in hand and feet, muscle cramp, and dry and itchy skin, back pain, frequent urination, and foamy or dark urine. The damage to kidneys which have occurred is not reversible in most cases, but proper treatment and lifestyle changes can prevent disease progression to kidney failure.
