Typhoid vaccination comes in two forms: one is a live vaccine and the other is inactivated vaccine. With the help of healthcare providers, parents can go for either of them. Inactivated form of the vaccine is given to children older than 2 years of age with a repeated dose every 2 years, as per the recommendation.
