Conditions of living place? especially when it comes to hygiene?
Contact with patients with skin manifestations?
Any medication started recently?
To me should rule out these pathologies first, and assure no internal underlying pathology exists.

Anxiety and stress can trigger the itch of neurodermatitis.
Treatment can be
1)Anti-itch medicated creams
2)Corticosteroid injections
3)anti anxiety drugs
