Hi, Good day to all. I want to know how everyone responds to patients with cold, cough, and breathlessness. Do you ask for a Covid 19 RT PCR and follow up? Or do you start on empirical treatment for the same? I get a lot of queries on this aspect. Kindly post your opinions.Discussions

Hello, Thank you very much and Good Day. In pre Pandemic Covid 19 period, patients with cold and cough were considered to be of common cold. But now in this era of Covid 19 Pandemic a patient with cold, cough and breathlessness has to be investigated for the diagnosis and the optimal utilization of the available management modalities. This is my opinion.
