What's this "Dermatology vs Rheumatology" (Internal Medicine)

Dr. Saumya Mittal., MBBS, CC IN MANAGEMENT OF DIABETES, MD GENERAL MEDICINE, DIPLOMA IN VITAMIN D DEFICIENCY AND TREATMENT

 

Medical Case Details:

The 25 year old girl has a compliant of burning and redness of face and livedo reticularis like pattern on limbs for 4 years.

Symptoms were on and off initially. But are persistent now.
She feels comfortable only in AC even in winters with temperature of 10 degree Celsius.
Only steroids helped her mildly. She is off steroids for past 8 months.
ANA, ANCA, APLA, C3 C4, thyroid, ESR, CRP are all normal. Biopsy not yet done.
USG showed a small area of focal steatosis. 2?4 4?5 in 2 different studies 2 years apart. MRI abdomen awaited.

Any suggestions?

    Lupus plus livedo retucularis directs in favour of any connective tissue disorder.
    I suggest skin biopsy and for direct immunofluorescence DIF
