Medical Case Details:
The patient has mild swelling and pain all over the left knee area. The complaint includes trouble standing for a long time, unable to put pressure on the left leg and walk properly. The patient has been using knee belt and applying anti-inflammatory ointment at the site of pain and swelling. The patient recently got an MRI for the left knee joint. Findings - Reduced size of the body, anterior and posterior horn of the medial meniscus with a displaced meniscal fragment seen in the medial aspect of the intercondylar notch, suggestive of bucket handle tear of the medial meniscus. Retraction of posterolateral fibers of anterior cruciate ligament, indicative of a partial tear of ACL. What are the possible treatment options for this?
