Medical Case Details:
In an emergency, the following technique was attempted to correct testicular torsion by saving testis instead of removing it. We operated a 1-1/2 months old baby with a suspected obstructed hernia. We incised Tunica Albuginea and placed free Tunica vaginalis flap (by avoiding orchidectomy, i.e., removal of testis). At two months, in follow up, size appeared fine, however little smaller than the contralateral side. The USG as well showed adequate volume and vascularity but smaller than the contralateral side. I hope for the better result for my patient on later follow up.
