Medical Case Details:
16 months old male child apparently normal till 8 months of life. Developed a poor stream of urine, diagnosed, and operated for PUV. He was fine for 2 months. Then he developed a poor stream again, which is when he came to me. USG showed b/l gross HUN. MCU showed left GV VUR, dilated posterior urethra. EC scan showed 98% right side function with delayed drainage, and right ureter dilated with 2% left side function. DMSA showed a non-functional left kidney and 98% function on the right side with no scars. I did diagnostic cystoscopy- the residual valve was fulgurated. Left nephrectomy was done. Have counseled for right ureterostomy. I am suspecting Right VUJO.
