Dr. Sharma Amitkumar Ashok is an Interventional Cardiologist with 10 years of experience in diverse interventional cardiology procedures, both routine and complex. He has completed MBBS and MD in Internal Medicine from Government Medical Colleges, located at Miraj and Jammu, India, respectively, and he completed his super specialization in Cardiology at Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences (SSSIHMS), Prashanthigram. Post super specialization, he worked at SSSIHMS as an Interventional Cardiologist. Besides routine Cardiac interventions like Coronary Angiograms, Coronary Angioplasty, Pacemaker, ICD implantation, and IVC filter implantation, he has routinely performed specialized valve interventions like Percutaneous transvenous mitral commissurotomy (PTMC). He has worked in multiple reputed centers of North, West, and South India, including SMBT, Nashik, and Fortis Group of Hospitals, Kangra, and served as a Consultant Cardiologist.
