Dr. Sreenath. K is a consultant Neurosurgeon in both Aswini Hospital and Mother Hospital, Thrissur, Kerala, India. Earlier, he worked as an Assistant Professor (provisional) in the Department of Neurosurgery, Government Medical College, Thrissur, Kerala. He has experience in effectively managing patients with traumatic brain and spine surgeries and also various other emergency and elective brain and spine surgeries. He is also an expert in ventilator management and managing sick patients in the neurosurgical critical care unit, and performing emergency procedures like endotracheal intubation, central line insertion, tracheostomy, etc. He uses a comprehensive approach to treat the patient through medications, active listening, and emotional support to patient and family members and help them make potentially life-saving decisions apart from surgical management. He is enthusiastic about research and has researched various brain and spine conditions, especially minimally invasive spine surgery. His areas of interest are neuro-oncology, skull base, and spine surgery. The doctor completed his graduation from Government medical college, Kozhikode, in 2008. He completed MS in General Surgery from the Regional Institute Of Medical Sciences, Imphal, in 2015 and M.Ch in Neurosurgery from Government Medical College Thrissur, Kerala, in 2018. He has seven years of clinical experience.
