Professional Bio
Dr. Madhu Shankar Gunasekaran is a Nephrologist with 17 years of clinical experience. He has been trained in Nephrology during his MD degree and pursued DM in Nephrology in 2011 at the prestigious AIIMS, New Delhi. He completed his Fellowship in Clinical Nephrology at Toronto in 2005 and currently practicing in Sri Ramakrishna Hospital since 2016.

Dr. Madhu Shankar Gunasekaran won First Prize in the Prof. M. A. Muthusethupathi Prize Examination for Proficiency in Nephrology held in Aug 2008, Gold Medal Proficiency in Gastroenterology in 2009, and Prof. M. Viswanathan Gold Medal Award for the Best Postgraduate Student selected by the board of examiners on 20th Dec 2009. He has also completed SCH.
