Dr. Sandeep M. Kumar is a Family Physician with 32 years of clinical experience. He obtained his Diplomate in Tropical Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Ireland in 2007. He completed the Foundation Course in Occupational Medicine from the University of Alberta in 2014. In addition, he also obtained a Master in Medicine (M.Med) in Family Medicine from The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University in 2015. He is an accomplished and dedicated Physician with a proven background in primary patient care, tropical and travel medicine, occupational medicine, and emergency care at the pre-hospital and hospital-level settings. He has experience in managing trauma, medical emergencies, rehabilitation of mass casualties during natural disasters, and leadership functions. His diverse services include implementing National health policies, providing diagnostic, curative, and preventive medical services, and hospital administration at the county level in general hospitals. He has broad experience in medical emergency evacuation at National and International levels. He ensures all the health and safety regulations and provides medical emergency evacuation and treatment in the oil and gas industry. He is the instructor for ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), Hamad International Training Center, Qatar and medical director of ITLS (International Trauma Life Support). He is the provincial examiner for the Alberta College of Paramedics. He is a member of the National Committee Exam Canadian Organization of Paramedic Regulator, North Zone Ethics Committee, Alberta, EMS North Zone Accreditation Committee and ITLS Global Development Committee. Dr. Sandeep M. Kumar was awarded the patent innovation title on "using clinical ontologies to build a knowledge-based clinical decision support system for novel coronavirus (COVID-19) with the adoption of teleconferencing for the primary health centers or satellite clinics of royal Oman police in Sultanate of Oman" by the Australian Government.
