Dr. Vijayalakshmi .B is a Senior Consultant and Head of Infection control at the Department of Infectious Diseases in SIMS and Kauvery Hospital, with 22 years of clinical experience. She helps prevent, contain, and effectively treat infectious diseases and overcome the current challenges to prepare for future threats. She completed her MD in General Medicine in 2005 at Madras Medical College, Chennai.
