Acute Silicosis

Acute silicosis is a type of lung inflammation affecting those who work at mines, construction sites, or quarries. Silica essentially makes up the rocks, sand, and soil around us. Consistent exposure to fine dust of silica causes inflammatory fluid accumulation inside the lungs. One may also suffer cough, breathing difficulty, and other ailments with acute silicosis.
