Asphyxia

Suffocation, also known as asphyxia, is a life-threatening condition when the body does not receive enough oxygen. It can cause loss of consciousness, brain injury, or death. Choking (a common cause in youngsters), drowning, a chemical reaction to a specific element (anaphylaxis), and asthma are possible reasons. Hyperventilation and blurred visions are two other symptoms and shortness of breath. Asphyxiation treatment is dependent on the cause and necessitates rapid medical assistance.
