Brain Imaging

Brain imaging methods help neuro specialists picturise the active brain's structure, function, and pharmacology. Positron emission tomography (PET) shows the activity of the living brain. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) provides the anatomical view of the brain, whereas functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) gives both anatomic and operational views of the brain. On the other hand, Computed tomography (CT) records the structure of the brain. Near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS), magnetoencephalogram (MEG), electroencephalography (EEG) are few other tests available.
