CIDD is a disorder of the central nervous system (CNS). CIDD is the abbreviation for CNS inflammatory myelinating disorder. It causes inflammation of the nerve sheath, thereby affecting the conduction of nerve cells. Steroids are anti-inflammatory drugs that help with this condition.
