Eye Stroke

Eye stroke refers to the damage to the retina caused due to the formation of a blood clot resulting in the obstruction of blood flow. It is otherwise called retinal artery occlusion. In some people, involvement in the optic nerve (which carries signals to the brain) is also seen. The symptoms include sudden loss of vision without any pain or discomfort.
