Hypotropia

Hypotropia is one form of vertical strabismus in which the eyes are turned downwards. Certain medical conditions such as Duane syndrome are rarely involved in causing hypotropia. Other causes may include an imbalance in the eye muscles, leading to misalignment and not working together.
