Iritis

Iritis is the inflammation of the iris (the colored part of the eye). The inflammation may cause vision impairment, even resulting in blindness. It also involves the front part between the cornea and the iris. This may be caused due to an injury or viral and bacterial infection. Iritis caused due to injury can resolve within one or two weeks.
