Jugular Bulb Abnormality

The jugular bulb is the place where the lateral venous sinuses meet in the jugular fossa and the jugular bulb abnormalities include high-riding jugular bulb and jugular bulb diverticulum. These abnormalities may produce symptoms depending upon their association and impact on the surrounding structures. Usually, jugular bulb abnormalities erode into the inner ear and cause impairment of hearing, complete hearing loss, imbalance, tinnitus, and vertigo.
