Lung Or Pulmonary Nodule

Lung or pulmonary nodules refer to the small abnormal growth in the lungs. Neurofibromas, sarcoidosis, and tuberculosis cause noncancerous lung nodules, whereas carcinoid tumors form malignant lung nodules. These nodules cause chest pain, coughing up blood, and wheezing. Noncancerous nodules generally require no treatment, whereas surgical intervention is necessary for cancerous nodules.
