Rhinoscopy is a procedure done for examining the nose and throat of the affected persons. The doctor examines the nose, eustachian tube, adenoids, and vocal cords using a rhinoscope in this procedure. There are two types of rhinoscopy, anterior rhinoscopy, and posterior rhinoscopy. Anterior rhinoscopy is done for examining the nasal cavity using a rhinoscope. Posterior rhinoscopy examines the eustachian tube and soft palate using a rhinoscope.
