Pitted keratolysis is an infection of the skin caused due to bacteria. It mainly occurs on the skin of the feet. It has a foul odor, white patches, and an itchy sensation on the skin. Men are mostly affected by this condition, and it is caused due to wearing tight socks, excessive sweating, and a warm climate.
