Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis

PPMS (Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis) is a kind of multiple sclerosis that gradually deteriorates neurologic skills. There are no flare-ups of symptoms—however, the decline in neurologic function is persistent and slow. Signs may level off and become easier to manage for a while, but they will not disappear. Walking becomes increasingly tricky as PPMS progresses.
