Rotator Cuff Tendinitis

Inflammed and irritated tendons of the shoulder are known as rotator cuff tendinitis. This occurs when the shoulder is kept in a single position for a longer duration over time or due to activities that involve lifting the hands above the head level. It is also known as impingement syndrome. It presents as pain, swelling, and clicking sounds of the involved shoulder during movements. Physiotherapy, cold compress, and pain killers are beneficial.
