Sevoflurane is a drug used for general anesthesia to initiate or maintain an anesthetic effect. Side effects of this medication are cough, dizziness, drowsiness, increased amount of saliva, nausea, vomiting, headache, shivering, etc. These side effects may fade of on recovery time. Hence the patient is asked to have complete bed rest for atleast 24 hours after the procedure.
