Strep Pharyngitis

Strep pharyngitis is an infection affecting the back of the throat, including the tonsils. It is caused due to group A streptococcus. The symptoms are fever, sore throat, red tonsils, and enlarged lymph nodes in the neck. The droplets of the infected persons spread it. It gets resolved within 3 to 7 days of taking antibiotics.
