Telangiectasia

Telangiectasia is a condition where widened venules cause thread-like red lines on the skin. Telangiectasia is otherwise known as spider veins due to its web-like appearance. Chronic alcoholism, pregnancy, aging, and rosacea may cause this condition. It is managed by laser therapy, sclerotherapy, or excision surgery.
